Sensory Sticks Are The Accessory You Didn't Know You Needed

Are your littles as obsessed with collecting sticks as my son is? Big, small, fat, thin, rotted and covered in mud lol...my son does not discriminate. :) So it occurred to me...what if real sticks could be made to be beautiful? And just like that...my sensory sticks were born. :)

I use high quality, peeled and sanded birch wood. I prime, stain, and seal them (so they can be used in water play (using Tiny Land Play's amazing products with are free of harmful ingredients and are EU compliant as well as CE certified (I live in the US, but we all know US standards are far less strict than they should be). The stain colors match Grimm's and Grapat so they are perfect for creating beautiful invitations to play with many of your favorite open-ended wooden toys.

The little man has been working on shape recognition lately and also always loves color sorting, so I created this setup with resources from a few of my favorite shops, owned by mamas who inspire me daily. I am so blessed to know such strong, kind, and talented people (Babble & Chatter, CharsJars, and LiveTheScottCottage).

Once we were done color sorting, I removed the Grapat nins, coins, and rings, poured water into the round tray, and added The Magic Folk's rainbow fizzy potion. Such a fun morning. Stay tuned for more play with our sensory sticks. Orders can also be placed via email. Sticks are available in every other of the rainbow. :)
